HOREA

Terms of service

Last updated: 26 August 2026.

1. What HOREA is

HOREA is a reservation and payments platform for restaurants, operated by [COMPANY NAME], registered at [ADDRESS], [KVK / COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER]. These terms apply to restaurant accounts (owners and staff) and to guests who book through a restaurant using HOREA.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. A restaurant owner can grant staff access with a limited role (manager, host, staff); each role can only perform the actions HOREA exposes for that role.

3. Payments and fees

Guest payments are processed by Mollie, our payment service provider, under Mollie's own terms. HOREA charges a platform application fee of 0.25% on each payment processed through HOREA, in addition to Mollie's own processing fees. Restaurants may subscribe to the Basis software package (currently €20/month) for access to Horea Payments; a restaurant may instead be granted free access at HOREA's discretion. [CONFIRM: fee change notice period, refund/dispute process, and what happens to in-flight payments on a plan or price change.]

Restaurants are responsible for their own arrangements with Mollie for card terminals and any associated Mollie plan (e.g. Mollie Pro) — HOREA does not bill for, or have visibility into, a restaurant's own Mollie plan costs.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use HOREA to collect payments for anything other than genuine restaurant reservations and related charges, attempt to circumvent Mollie's or HOREA's fraud and compliance checks, or access another restaurant's data without authorization.

5. Guest data you collect

As a restaurant using HOREA, you are the data controller for your guests' personal data (see our privacy policy). You're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use that data, and for handling guest requests about their own data in line with applicable law.

6. Availability

We aim to keep HOREA available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. [CONFIRM: any uptime commitment, and how service-affecting incidents are communicated.]

7. Liability

[PLACEHOLDER — liability limitations require real legal drafting specific to your jurisdiction and risk tolerance; do not publish this section as-is.]

8. Termination

A restaurant may stop using HOREA at any time. [CONFIRM: data retention/export window after account closure, and any conditions under which HOREA may suspend or terminate an account.]

9. Changes to these terms

We'll update this page as the product or our terms change, and update the "last updated" date above when we do. [CONFIRM: notice period for material changes.]

10. Governing law

[PLACEHOLDER — confirm governing law and dispute-resolution venue, e.g. the laws of the Netherlands, before publishing this for real.]
